GEOtradex is one of the more well known online brokerages currently offering binary options to a global base. They have a good number of advertising channels and adsense will keep them coming up on your screen. A little research into the company itself shows no geographic restrictions, one of the lowest minimum deposits in the industry and no fees. They offer over 80 global assets to choose from ranging from the highly popular big companies like Apple and Google to currency pairs as well as commodities such as gold, wheat and oil. The platform is easy to navigate, requires no downloads and is laid out in very use friendly manner.One unique aspect is the minimum deposit amount of $50. This is the lowest I’ve seen in the industry.
UPDATE: GEOtradex has bumped this back to $200. When asked, I was politely told that the $50 was a Winter Promotion.
Looking a little deeper, it appears that GEOtradex also offers traders the new 60 Second trading feature as well as the ProCharts Charting platform that is appealing to traders who may be a little more advanced. These two options are quite new within the industry and GEOtradex is one of the few brokers who has them available to their clients.
A binary options review is nothing without making contact with the all important customer support. A click on the Live Chat button yields a timely response in the three times I tested it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and shows an interest in the user on the other end. I deliberately asked a question that I knew would be hard to answer for someone unless they have some real world financial trading experience and to my surprise, I didn’t receive an on-the-spot made up answer but was rather told that that particular question was out of her experience level and that an Options Manager would get back to me as soon as possible. Sure enough, I got an email from one of the managers who was able to answer my questions within 4 hours.
Overall, GEOtradex is a very well functioning broker. They have a great external news blog attached to their market analysis section that includes an educational resource center. They also make it obvious that your business is valued, try their best to answer your questions and provide new features that not a lot of the competition out there currently have. I also found the live chat staff were not overly aggressive and would happily answer questions without prompting me to first sign up. Great user experience and a good team standing behind their product. As for negative points in my book, I think they are lacking in terms of languages offered. Other than that, I didn’t find much else to flag.
UPDATE – German and Portuguese were recently added to their language offerings.
